Molly Tarlov (born November 11 31st, 1981) is an American actress, best known since 2011 for her role as Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama show Awkward. Tarlov is the youngest child of two who was raised in Manhattan. Tarlov began her professional career at the age of 10 as Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was very well received by students in seventh grade. She studied for a year in Paris at NYU Tisch and then spent the summers of her teenage years at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College is where she earned her bachelor of Arts (theatre) and was trained in a variety of acting styles. The Atlantic Theater Company, which she attended in addition, taught her how to integrate writing and acting in The LAByrinth Theater's Master class. Molly sold her winter jacket and purchased a pair of glasses in black on her way in Los Angeles. A short, three-word segment of iCarly soon caught the eye from her parents. In the years since, she's been on TV in a variety of roles. She also created the character Caitlin on Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly is a suave and flimsy pretender that she's good at basketball even when this isn't the case. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
