Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams was among seven siblings who grew up as a young child in Colorado's Castle Rock. Adams was born when her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. At the end of the 1990s, she started performing professionally and dancing at Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. She then moved to an area theatre located in Minnesota where she was cast as a character in a film mock documentary about beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). She moved from Minnesota to Los Angeles after making her debut on screen as an innocent, but funny contestant. She was married to Tony Curtis was her partner between June 1950 and September 1992. Her children included, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Her film career started in the late 1940s when she was accepted by MGM. She had been noticed by Norma shearer. In the 1960s, Leigh starred in films that were popular, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho as well as Living It Up.
